Today we visited Nightingale Care Home 🤝 in Richmond.

We were there to deliver our Communication & Interaction (CAIT) Training.

Practical training that builds dementia literacy and focuses on the micro-skills that make the biggest difference to residents and staff every day:

➡️ noticing and responding to non-verbal cues
➡️ using clear, compassionate communication
➡️ understanding and supporting behaviours that challenge

Help get your community vaccinated & protected this winter 🤝

NHS leaders are warning that every vaccination matters – especially for older people, those with long-term conditions, and 2–3-year-olds. It’s important that as many people as possible are vaccinated before the end of December. If people wait until after the peak, they’ll miss their best chance to protect themselves and others.

Here’s how you can help:
✅ Share trusted information from the NHS with friends, family and community groups
✅Check in with older relatives and neighbours and encourage them to book their vaccine
✅Support parents of young children to get 2–3-year-olds vaccinated
✅Offer practical help – such as a lift to a clinic or help with online booking

If you’re a community or faith leader, spread the word through your networks, newsletters and events.

➡️ Get vaccinated yourself and share your experience to normalise and encourage uptake
