Communication & Interaction Training
The CAIT programme is designed to support those caring for people living with dementia.
Communication and Action Training (CAIT) aims to reinforce existing and teach new skills that improve care for people living with dementia.

CAIT is comprised of two in-person sessions – ‘Introducing Communication and Specific Techniques in Dementia Care’ and ‘Behaviour as a Communication of Unmet Need.’
The sessions aim to:
- Increase staff confidence to provide skilled dementia care.
- Enhance understanding of effective communication.
- Develop communication and management skills.
- Teach de-escalation techniques.
